Women continue to secure top positions in Bhutan Civil Service Examination. They excelled in seven out of eleven categories in the exam. From nearly 2,000 graduates who sat for the exam, more than 1,700 passed the exam. The Royal Civil Service Commission announced the results today.
In the Administrative Services category, Deki Phuntsho from Sherubtse College, topped the category with 67.44 per cent.
He said “I just thought that I would get through it, but I didn’t expect to secure the first position. With this good result, I feel more encouraged to serve the country.”
Tandin Chenzom from Gedu College of Business Studies scored the highest with 67.7 per cent in the Finance Services category.
Likewise, in the Dzongkha category, Sangay Bidha from the College of Language and Culture Studies, achieved the top position with 79.09 per cent.
Securing 69.03 per cent, Karma Dorji from University of Texas at El Paso in the United States topped the Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) category.
