The Digital Business Conference and Global Iconic Leadership Award 2026 ceremony was held in a grand and festive atmosphere in the capital city of Dhaka, bringing together leaders from business, culture, innovation, and social development.
At the event, Lifetime Achievement Awards were conferred upon Ekushey Padak–winning legendary actress Dilara Zaman and internationally acclaimed magician and valiant Freedom Fighter Jewel Aich, in recognition of their outstanding lifelong contributions to art, culture, and the nation.
The program was graced by former Justice of the High Court Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court Faisal Mahmud Foyezey as the Chief Guest. In his speech, he emphasized that true leadership is defined not by position or power, but by service to society and dedication to ethical values.
The ceremony was presided over by former Information Secretary and Chief Adviser of the Global Youth Business Innovation Forum (GYBIF), Syed Margub Morshed, who highlighted the importance of nurturing young entrepreneurs and innovators through such initiatives.
Special guests included ATN Bangla Adviser (Programs & Broadcasting) Tashik Ahmed, Ekushey Padak–winning Nazrul Sangeet artist Ferdous Ara, motivational speaker and founder of the Hal Chhero Na Bondhu Foundation Chanda Mejhabin, Executive Director of the Asian Business Partnership Summit Md. Golam Faruk Majnu, and Executive Chairperson of the organization Lion Anwara Begum Nipa.
The event was jointly hosted by Md. Manjur Hossain Isa, Chairman of the Bangladesh National Human Rights Association, and presenter Toma Rashid. The welcome address was delivered by Md. R. K. Ripon, Executive Director of GYBIF.
A total of 20 distinguished individuals from diverse sectors including business, culture, media, social service, and innovation were honored with the Global Iconic Leadership Award 2026 for their remarkable contributions.
Speakers at the ceremony stated that such recognition platforms play a vital role in inspiring the younger generation toward leadership, innovation, and humanitarian values, contributing to the vision of a sustainable and inclusive Bangladesh.
The event concluded in a celebratory atmosphere with the participation of prominent personalities, entrepreneurs, cultural figures, and youth representatives from across the country.
